The IT and Business Management advisory significantly expands its service offering in Business Process Automation, acquires the largest ServiceNow team on the Balkans

Bright Consulting, the Bulgarian-based IT and Business Management advisory servicing enterprise clients in 19 countries on three continents, has acquired ZIROSS, a digital services company boasting one of the largest ServiceNow team on the Balkans. The acquisition enables Bright Consulting to offer its clients wider specter of services in addition to its flagship business process optimization solutions for some of the largest companies in Europe.

The acquired company, ZIROSS, has a wide experience implementing the ServiceNow platform, the leading cloud computing and IT service management company. Based in Santa Clara, California, enterprise software company ServiceNow, traded on the New York Stock Exchange, saw a $ 1.93 billion revenue in 2017. With the addition of Ziross’ ServiceNow practice, Bright will now extend its established Service Management services to deliver Business Process Automation solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

Since its establishment, Sofia-based ZIROSS saw the fastest growth of its team among other peers in the region working with ServiceNow. The company, now part of Bright Consulting, brings a team of 15 service-oriented professionals working to deliver end-to-end project, implementation and managed services. The team brings along its experience and knowledge from working with clients in the areas of finance, HR, Facilities and Logistics, IT and Customer Service. ZIROSS’ dedicated team of specialists has worked, or is currently working, on large-scale projects for companies such as The Coca-Cola Company (IT Service Management), BP (Implementation of ServiceNow applications) and Experian (Integration of ServiceNow applications), and more.

Under the umbrella of Bright Consulting, the company will continue to assist businesses in their digitalization initiatives. The acquisition comes on the heels of rapidly growing demand for business process automation services across various industries, including Financial Services and Banking, Insurance, Telecom and IT.

“We’re pleased to see that many businesses today are putting digitalization on top of their agenda. Yet many, if not most, businesses are still somewhat stuck at experimental level,” says Angel Kanchev, General Manager of Bright Consulting. “A 2017 research by McKinsey & Company shows that less than 40% of the industries are digitalized, regardless of the deep penetration of technologies in certain areas such as media and retail. There’s clearly a lot to be done here.”

Established in 2006, Bright is an IT and Business Management consultancy with a passion to help enterprises deliver fast digital services. The company focuses on the delivery of end-to-end IT solutions and services in the area of Customer Experience, Digitization and Automation, Process Efficiency, DevOps, Business Analytics and Security. Following the acquisition of ZIROSS, the company now employs 70 specialists. In 2017, the Sofia-based company worked with clients in 15 countries across the globe.

“We are committed to helping businesses thrive in a highly digitalized world. The numbers give us hope: research shows that when businesses respond to digitalization across multiple dimensions, they also improve their performance,”says General Manager Angel Kanchev who now will be also managing the newly acquired ZIROSS.“In order to help our partners address these challenges Bright offers a holistic delivery approach. Our team embraces all aspects, from the analysis of required cultural and organizational change to the design and implementation of secured and effective solution.”

Digitalization now: Market comment by Angel Kanchev, General Manager of Bright Consulting

We’re pleased to see that many businesses today are putting digitalization on top of their agenda. There’s no way around it. Yet many, if not most, businesses are still somewhat stuck at experimental level. A 2017 research by McKinsey & Company shows that less than 40% of the industries are digitalized, regardless of the deep penetration of technologies in certain areas such as media and retail. There’s clearly a lot to be done here.

Businesses are looking for ways to cope with the extensive focus on technology that is to be implemented. Digitalization is still seen as a challenge, something overwhelming which is hard to tackle. In order to implement digital initiatives at scale, organizations have to consider the required shift in their culture, business processes changes and sufficient skills and talent to drive the change. For some, taking the leap might seem like too much at the moment. Businesses still need help in that regard.

Another aspect that is broadly underestimated is the security context of the digitalization. In order to achieve the desired level of governance IT security should be considered as an integral part of each digitalization project and not as somebody else’s job or a parallel initiative or project.

In order to help our partners address these challenges Bright offers a holistic delivery approach. Our team of consultants embrace all aspects, from the analysis of required cultural and organizational change to the design and implementation of secured and effective solution. With a 70-strong team of highly experienced professionals, and operations on three continents, we are committed to helping businesses thrive in a highly digitalized world. The numbers give us hope: research shows that when businesses respond to digitalization across multiple dimensions, they also improve their performance.
